Introduction to Meditation with Leah

Meditation can take many forms, and it doesn’t require an empty mind or a certain personality type. It simply requires curiosity and a willingness to practice.

Whether you’ve never meditated, tried it and decided it “wasn’t for you,” or already have a practice you’d like to expand, this workshop is designed to meet you exactly where you are. We’ll explore the neuroscience behind meditation and why it can feel challenging at first. You’ll learn what’s happening in the brain and nervous system and why distraction is not failure, but part of the process.

Together we’ll explore and experience several different forms of meditation. You’ll leave with practical tools and the understanding that meditation is not about doing it “right,” but about finding what works for you—beginning small and growing at a pace that supports your life.
